The Sims 3
The Sims 3…where can I start. This game has many levels to it and after having a go myself it seemed like 30 minutes, but was in fact 2 hours.
You just loose yourself in a whirlwind of possibilities when you hear that little catchy theme tune and see that shiny green emerald you have stepped inside a genius’ mind and you will definetely stay for tea and maybe even the night!
The Sims 3 is for everyone aged 12 to…well…infinity! It has an unusual charm to it and will capture everyone’s imagination and suck it dry. Although, if you are reading this, you’re middle aged and your gaming life is supposedly “over” you can re-live your dream life and take opertunities that you wouldn’t dream of taking in the real world.
The Sims 3 lets you embrace the wild thing chained up inside you, eager to get out and have some fun. You can travel into space or just to the gym maybe. Whatever you want to do your wild side is always welcome at the Sims 3 community!
Now you may be thinking “but I already have The Sims 1 or 2, why should i get 3?” a simple answer to a complicated question, just because it’s…well…better! There is more to do; more to see and for all you people who are unlucky enough to have macs, It works on them too! So, instead of just sitting there reading this for no reason, get down to your nearest HMV store and pick up one for £39.99 (cheaper than 1 and 2).
Installation is a walk in the park - it took me no time and it all comes on one disc (I found this handy as I lost all of the discs for the Sims 2.) Although pets are not included in this game sequel, the characters are extremely life like and life is more realistic as you follow your sims around all over the town on bikes and in cars.
Creating a Sim/Sims is personally my favourite part of the whole game. With an added tool of “traits” which let you choose your personality such as unlucky or evil it makes creating a Sim less frustrating as the loading is quicker in not just creating a family, but in the whole game.
The traits help you live your dream life on this game and you will have a laugh creating each other and choosing their traits which, if you choose them well, you will not be told off for by your mum, dad or family!
I hope I have done all I can to convince you to buy this game. If you aren’t the least bit interested then you’ll be sorry as your friends will be creating you with a big nose, or even make you get your food from dustbins…
