Madden NFL 09 is actually an American video football game which is made on the basis of “National Football League” published by “EA Sports” and progressed by Tiburon EA.
It was released by the developers for Xbox 360, Wii, Play Station portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Xbox consoles and mobile phone services.
Unlike past versions of the game, it is not released for personal computer.
Major innovations included in the new version
New Commentators: – The game features 2 main broadcast group of Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond for Wii, Xbox, PSP and PS2 Versions.
EA sports ticker or BPPS (Broadcast Plus presentation styles):- Coin toss, starting series banners and pre introduction of game has somewhat changed from those of past versions. Madden NFL 09 features advanced camera angles and broadcast advertising (EA Sports).
A ticker which gives a tremendous broadcast appearance is also featured in the game.
New Cameras: – Slight camera changes like emphasis on certain moments like hard hits and break away are there in the game. Different kinds of post play and pre play cameras are also featured.
EPCS (enhanced play calling system):- A play calling scheme of image in image is also introduced which allows the participants to watch and immediate rerun and stats.
Augmented Sidelines: – In the new version, more number of individuals have been included on sidelines including players, coaches and an assortment of security. The characters have been shown with more emotions and activity than past installments.
Online video highlights: – While playing online, the newest version has the capability to save the record of highlights that can be shared between different players.
Online leagues have been improved to a greater extent. Server dependent leagues, holding up around 75 participants along with full timetable including super Bowl, playoff and trade and draft support. The game has also enabled the players to play in round robin fashion.
Graphic techniques are made more appealing and impressive as those of previous versions. Augmented stadium levels, amazing weather effects like movie and rain weather, snow, lighting models, field goal web, new sensible player models, new team fans and clear visors have been featured.
The new features of game play are also equally impressive and fantastic such as user celebrations, total command of animation system, weather precise animations, playbook renovation and various others like bubble catches, set audible, slide protection, pass tuning and new tackling system.
