Call of Duty 5 – World at War
Call of Duty 5: World at War is basically a 1st person video shooter game by “Treyarch” and made available by “Activision: for Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation3, PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Windows.
This 5th installment of the Call of Duty franchise returns to the 2nd World War after the previous game “Call of duty 4 “Modern Warfare” which put much more emphasis on the battles of the Eastern Front and Pacific Theater of World War 2.
This was also available on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Microsoft Windows version.
The storyline of the latest game revolves around initial clashes of 2nd World War in Eastern Europe and Pacific involving Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, Japanese Empire and United States. The game is played from the perceptions of a soldier of the red army and US Marine Raider and is completely based upon certain historical encounters including “Battle of Berlin”, “Battle of Okinawa”, “Battle of the Seelow Heights”, “Battle of Peleiu” and Battle of Stalingrad.
The multiplayer mode of the game consists of many game sections along with a leveling scheme which permits the participant to expose extra weapons and credits as they move forward. The mode of “cooperative” seems quite impressive and can have support for around 2 players offline and 4 players online.
